Designed by Jozeph Forakis in 1993, the Havana pendant is directally inspired by the shape of a cigar, formed out of four parts held by tiny metal rings. The lovely white finish allows the light to be diffused, creating a warm, soft glow that is welcoming, inviting and soothing. The small gaps between the parts means the light slightly escapes, creating bands of light that help emit an overall illumination, perfect for filling the room.
The Havana pendant light is wonderful for lounges, dining areas, receptions and hallways in both professional and domestic settings. The pendant is both a stylish and classic choice and is now an iconic piece that is seen in a permanent exhibition at the New York MoMA. Match with other lights in the Foscarini Havana collection, which includes a floor lamp, wall light and outdoor lights.
