Gordon Guillaumier

Gordon Guillaumier was born 1966 and was educated in Malta, Switzerland, England and Italy. He graduated in design at the IED, Milan (1988-91) and with a postgraduate in design at the Domus academy , Milan (1992) . 
In 1993 he took an apprenticeship with Baleri Associati and that same year collaborated with the architect Rodolfo Dordoni. During this period Gordon also designed and presented his first own products for Foscarini and Mito. 
In 2002 he set up his design studio in Milan, initially working on product design but also for design consultancy projects. As design consultant and art director, Gordon has collaborated with; Driade for the Atlantide e DHouse collections, bathroom accessories for Dornbracht Interiors, kitchens for Rational, furniture for Fiam’s Liv’it collection, outdoor furniture for Roda and handles for Pamar. 
As a product designer, Gordon has worked for various internationally renowned companies; ceramics and tableware for Bosa, Pandora, Paola C and De Vecchi, furniture for Arketipo, Casa Milano, Desalto, De Sede, Fontana Arte, Frag, Matteo Grassi, Montina, Minotti, Moroso, Roda, Tacchini, and Varaschin, lighting for Foscarini, AV Mazzega, appliances for Elica, handles for Pamar, bathroom taps and faucets for Nobili, bathroom ceramic ware for Azzurra. 
His participated in various exhibitions and installations including:”Pro-gettare”Abitare II Tempo, Verona (1999), Pandora Design, Milano (2001); Molteni Villa Torlonia (2002); Pamar, Palazzo Crivelli (2006/2010); Roda, Salone del Mobile Milano (2006/2010). 
In 2006 he gave lectures of his work at the faculty of industial design at the Politecnico di Milano.
