Sophisticated yet casual
SEELA stands out for its aerodynamic design, enhanced by materials such as wood and fabric that give the chair character and comfort.
When they communicate, it’s the best of all possible scenarios: man and nature together — one observes, the other suggests forms and materials. This exceptional meeting led to a lesson in Finnish design. The collaboration between Antti Kotilainen and Lapalma resulted in SEELA, a chair that expresses beauty through the spontaneous dialogue between wood, polypropylene, and steel. The softly contoured shell, resting on light bases, features an integrated, seamless seat pad. Countless variations. Utter calm.
The shell is made of polypropylene, with an integrated seamless seat pad in polypropylene, wood, or fabric, which can be easily removed with four screws and replaced. A fully upholstered shell without a removable seat pad is also available.
The base has four legs in matt chromed or powder-coated steel. The glides are made of nylon with felt. The collection is complemented by stools available in two heights.
